The Challenge
When entrepreneur, author and pilot Ciara O’Toole approached Bossanova to work on a new venture, we were excited and intrigued. Combining her passion for flying with her creative and business skills, Ciara’s ambition was to create a collection of bespoke art & furniture from decommissioned aircraft.
The Response
We kicked off the project with a brand workshop establishing the creative strategy – ‘The Art of Adventure’, which captures the essence of Ciara’s work. In naming, we pay homage to one of her all-time heroes – aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart. The brand identity for Amelia was inspired by the design and style of the era, and evokes the romance of flying. The project culminated in an exhibition of Ciara’s amazing creations showcased at the Irish Aviation Authority.
Testimonial
“There are many agencies with the capacity to put a strong brand identity together. There are few, however, that approach the process in the holistic manner required to obtain absolute cohesion from the get go. As a marketing and branding specialist myself, it could have been a very difficult process for me to engage with a third party looking at my brand. However, I trusted Bossanova implicitly and it was always clear to me I was going to get the results I was looking for. What sets Bossanova apart is the process. Joan follows a charmingly intuitive approach, which starts with some carefully crafted questions. Through these she brilliantly elicited the insights required to successfully build the brand. The process was collaborative, engaging, missile focused and ultimately a lot of fun. I couldn’t recommend Bossanova highly enough.”
