The Challenge

To celebrate 40 years as Ireland and UK’s most loved nursery brands, Baby Elegance wanted to mark it with something extra special and so the ‘plant a tree’ project was born with a promise to plant a native oak tree for every Baby Elegance cot or cot bed purchased in their first ever forest in Co. Roscommon.

The Response

Our starting point was naming this exciting initiative. Little Buds Forest was the unanimous choice. The tone is enchanting and playful and suggests friends of the earth, new life, and the start of something promising. Our tagline is ‘Grown with Love’.

A playful arrangement of type and illustration using a natural warm colour palette make up the distinctive brand mark. Application includes in-store POS and digital assets for social and web. Every cot purchase comes with sustainable packaging and a ‘Little Bud is sleeping’ door hanging sign for baby’s nursery. All touch points are considered an opportunity to engage, promote the initiative and tell our story.

To date, over 46,500 broadleaf oak trees have been planted in Little Buds Forest to create beautiful natural habitats for wildlife to flourish. This is just the beginning; the hope is to purchase more sites where every tree planted helps protect our precious planet for future generations to enjoy.
