The Challenge

The Patrons Club 10 Year Ticket is one of the IRFU’s most important initiatives and plays a vital role in the success of the organisation and our international teams. When you purchase your 10 year ticket, you become a member of the Patrons Club guaranteeing you prime positioned seats for every Ireland International Rugby game at Aviva Stadium.

As we approach the 10 year anniversary of the Aviva Stadium, the IRFU asked us to consider how we would reach out to their existing Patron Club members to invite them to renew their membership for the next 10 years. The objective was to ensure maximum uptake and position the 2020 Ten Year Ticket offering as exclusive, premium and very special.

The Response

A direct mail piece was created with the brochure as the central element. The brochure cover leads with a striking graphic highlighting the number 10. Inside, the gold foiled etching device appears throughout alongside impactful rugby imagery sourced from sports photography agency, Inpho Photography.

Content and design work together to reflect on the many special moments of the previous decade and to set the stage for the next exciting era of international rugby.
